More know-how for quality management according to VDA 16
Stagnation is not our thing. That is why we are always interested in getting better in our processes in order to help you achieve more success. To this end, our quality assurance staff have now taken part in a VDA 16 training course in order to be able to assess the quality of surfaces according to the assessment criteria of the automotive industry.
VDA 16 – The quality standard of the automotive industry
The German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) has published a uniform standard for quality assurance in Volume 16. The guideline, briefly referred to as VDA 16, contains various evaluation criteria with which the quality of decorative surfaces in the automotive industry can be tested. In addition, VDA 16 also regulates the underlying test conditions and thus enables a universal and uniform evaluation basis for all manufacturers.
VDA 16 – Our employees are ready!
As a partner to the automotive industry, we not only use innovative processes to produce inexpensive and material-saving decorative parts for a wide variety of premium vehicles. Of course, we also attach great importance to high-quality surface processing. That is why our employees took part in a special VDA-16 training course. They dealt with the following areas:
- Fields of application
- Scopes
- Test conditions: Position, illumination, distance, comparability and pattern
- Assessment criteria: Limit samples, target agreements and tolerable deviations
- Evaluation methods
- Error address
- Practical examples
VDA 16 – Only a part of our quality standards
The VDA 16 is only a mosaic in our overall quality claim. Accordingly, we attach great importance to testing our decorative, bent and stamped parts according to strict criteria. We use state-of-the-art technology in the form of high-quality measuring projectors and are certified according to ISO 9001:2015.
